Something for summer.
Inspired by the Major League Baseball team, Nike look set to release the Nike SB Dunk High “San Francisco Giants” in the coming months.
Having previously seen iterations of the SB Dunk High for the New York Mets and a low version for the Philadelphia Phillies, this latest effort from Nike sees the baseball-themed rollout continue as the San Francisco Giants get the Dunk treatment.
This particular colourway looks set to provide every sneakerhead with a lighter summer colourway, with the majority of the upper seeing a sandy beige suede and canvas composition. Red and black adorn the tongue and central Nike tick, with the sole of the shoe keeping this palette alongside shades of baby pink. Some unique features see hidden graphics behind the shoe’s tongue, with a kayak graphic representing a nod to the fans that kayak in McCovey Cove in hopes of catching a home run ball, whilst the baseball glove reflects the world’s largest baseball glove statue that is placed outside the team’s home at Oracle Park.
A release date for this pair is unknown, but stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as we have it. Check out the unofficial imagery below.
