Rapper and musician Aminé has been announced as New Balance’s latest brand ambassador for 2022.
Having long been pictured in several New Balance pieces in the past, Aminé has been recruited by New Balance as the latest in a long line of musical recruits by the iconic shoe brand. The collaboration comes as little surprise to many, as Aminé’s friendship with New Balance’s designer of the moment Salehe Bembury has been a well-documented one. In an announcement photo released via Aminé’s Instagram, he is seen rocking an unreleased pair of the New Balance 2002R ‘Protection Pack’ in a burnt orange colourway. If these are to release to the public, could we be seeing Aminé front the campaign? Only time will tell.
