Introducing TRACKS.
Kicking off a new nightlife and music-centric initiative, Diesel has teamed up with NTS Radio for the launch of TRACKS – a multi-pronged experience which aims to “bring together a mix of progressive musical talent from around the globe to promote the universal language of club culture, connection and party.”
Not nation-specific, the new worldwide initiative will centre around a mix series, live club nights, radio mixes, talent profiles, roundtable discussions with key music collectives and a climactic party to round it off. Rolling out in three phases, the first kicked off on July 20th, with radio mixes and Spotify playlists highlighting nightlife culture from different cities around the globe.
Selected from progressive music communities across multiple continents, the likes of Redkoffee of French collective 99Ginger, Dogheadsurigeri of Polish collective Oramics, Sarra Wild of Scottish collective OH141, Abosahar of Egyptian collective HIZZ; Turkana of Anti-Mass in Uganda; Coco Em of Santuri East Africa in Kenya; Tangbosh is from ZVUK in Kazakhstan; 33EMYBW from Chinese collective SVBKVLT; Zjoso from Australian collective Tribqu; DJ Kita from American collective Hood Rave; Mexican Jihad of Mexico’s NAAFI and BADSISTA of Brazil’s Bandida will be partaking.
Only the tip of the iceberg, As TRACKS continues to unfold, a series of four short docu-videos will spotlight talent from Egypt, Vietnam, Brazil and France. The videos will introduce the highly personal worlds of acts like Kirou Kirou and Abi Wasabi, and invite NTS and Diesel’s global audience to explore the resonance of club culture and cultural influences.
