Nike Set to Release Air Force 1 Low for SNKRS Day 5th Anniversary

Coming this August.

Another year, another SNKRS Day. Each sneaker head’s favourite day of the year is almost upon us as the 5th anniversary of SNKRS Day rolls around, with rumours beginning to circle around Nike’s choice for this year’s commemorative sneaker.

In prior years, the Jordan 1 Low, Air Max 1, and Huarache silhouettes had seen special-edition releases just for Nike’s SNKRS Day, with this year’s rumoured release set to be the infamous Nike Air Force 1 Low. The notorious New York City staple sneaker is set to be celebrating its 40th year in existence, so what better time to give the silhouette its time in the sun. The neutral pair look set to feature ‘Sail’ coloured canvas and various knit materials throughout the upper, with accents of ‘Brown’ covering the leather Nike Swoosh on the sides, tongue tags, insoles, outsoles, as well as the “Nike Air” branding on the back heels. In typical SNKRS Day fashion, additional detailed nods to the celebration include a wood lace dubraes with a roman numeral V on each as well as a customary SNKRS Day dated hang tag.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low SNKRS Day 5th Anniversary is currently set to release on Nike’s SNKRS Day, which takes place on August 8th, 2022.
