A up-close sneak preview.
The long-awaited imagery for the upcoming PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” has officially come to light.
Having a tendency to collaborate with a variety of musicians, especially in more recent times, Nike has tapped South Korean “King of K-Pop” rapper G-Dragon for another iteration of the Nike Kwondo 1 silhouette. Having previously teamed up for an all-white iteration of the pair, G-Dragon teased this “Panda” colourway of the silhouette via Instagram a few months back, sending the sneaker community into a frenzy. The silhouette boasts similar design features to the prior release, with the low-lying shape keeping its place alongside the white leather base and perforated leather overlays, which this time around arrive in a solid black on the toe box, midfoot, and heel of the pair. The iconic Nike Swoosh also dons a solid black, with other features including co-branded PEACEMINUSONE x Nike thick lace shrouds, a solid black rubber midsole, PEACEMINUSONE branded lace-tips, as well as the signature PEACEMINUSONE daisy embroidery on the heel of the shoe.
Whilst no release date has been announced for this pair as of yet, official imagery indicates an imminent announcement. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information.
