In tandem with rising afrobeat artists SK and Sarche, rising London-based Nigerian afrofusion music and artist RAYSMUZIK is back with an infectious new single titled YKTVBZ.
Garnering a host of media attention from the likes of BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and more, RAYSMUZIK is the fast-rising afrobeats artist that is set to takeover the scene with his captivating global sound that sees the London based Nigerian vocalist and songwriter fuse afrobeats, dancehall, hip hop and RnB. Linking up with producer Jaylon who is known for his work with Mr.Eazi as well as Sparkzy who adds his afrobeat and amapiano sensibilities to the mix, ‘YKTVBZ,’ the latest offering from the rising star is the perfect end of summer. A fusion of afrobeats and the genre of the summer, amapiano, the track sees the organic artistic output of RAYSMUZIK, SK and Sarche at it’s very best with an infectious groovy melody.
Speaking on how the track came together, RaysMuzik says “the song put us in a bubbly party mood, ‘YKTVBZ’ represents a celebration where everyone is having a great time, and it should get you grooving and moving from the minute you press play. The most amazing thing about this record was that we didn’t make it in a conventional way. SK and I met Sarche, while at a friend’s house, then Jaylon pulled up to kick it with us, and in less than an hour, we had recorded the song. Big up to Sparkzy for taking the track to another level”
