"Heard these are BACK?"
Korean designer Yoon Ambush took to Instagram yesterday to unveil what looks to be yet another collaboration with sportswear giants Nike, teasing an upcoming release of a collaborative Nike Air Force 1.
Having previously joined forces for a host of other releases, most recently dropping two colourways of the widely-popular Nike Air Adjust Force, Yoon Ambush’s AMBUSH and Nike look set to take on the Air Force 1 silhouette, putting forward a typically futuristic design. In a sneak peek of the upcoming release, Ambush unveiled the rear end of a red, black and white iteration of the AF1, mimicking the colour scheme of a classic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago”. From this first look, some notable features include AMBUSH’s instantly recognisable elongated plastic Nike Swoosh, which arrives in black, as well as an extended heel feature and collaborative Nike x AMBUSH name branding. Lastly, AMBUSH opts for a white midsole as well as a red textured outsole.
Whilst no release date has been set for this collaboration as of yet, expect official confirmation soon. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information.
