Alessandro Michele Rumoured to be Departing Gucci

By November 23, 2022Fashion News

A Change Looks Imminent...

According to rumours, current Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele could be set to depart the luxury Italian fashion brand as early as this week.

Having been appointed back in 2015, Michele has overseen a host of changes in aesthetic over the last 7 years, bringing forward a largely androgynous aesthetic instead of former Gucci creative director Frida Giannini’s ‘larger-than-life’ ethos. According to trusted sources, it is expected that Alessandro Michele will depart the fashion house this week, potentially as early as today. It has also been reported that François-Henri Pinault, who is the chairman and chief executive officer of Gucci’s parent Kering, stated that they were looking for a change in pace for Gucci.

Could this be the end of Alessandro Michele’s Gucci reign? Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
