A brand-new silhouette.
With temperatures rapidly dropping and weather conditions getting much harsher, it’s getting harder and harder for us to rock our favourite sneakers without ruining them. The easy solution is boots but for sneakerheads, making that transition can be a bit tough especially when we have to give up the comfort of foam midsoles. However, Vans and Timberland have just the perfect thing as they headline their first-ever collaboration with the new Half Cab Hiker.
Combining the Vans’ Half Cab sneaker with Timberland’s Euro Hiker, the new silhouette takes the upper from the former and attaches it to the latter’s outsole to create a hybrid model, elevated with metal eyestays and two-tone laces. Comprised of canvas and Timberland’s premium leather that will sport Wheat and Chocolate/Olive colourways, the shoes also feature co-branding throughout as well as padded leather collars and a ReBOTL lining made up of 50% plastic waste. Alongside the Half Cab Hiker is a new take on Timberland’s black 6-inch boot that adds the skate brand’s signature checkerboard motif.
The three shoes will be available on December 20th, check out the shoes in action below.
