Releasing Worldwide on January 14th.
Initially teased last year, we now have an official campaign and release date for the highly anticipated Marni x Carhartt WIP collaboration. Shot by Lengua, the campaign is headlined by Bootsy Collins, his wife Patti, his grandson Vincent and Hip-hop artist Babyxsosa as they are pictured in front of their house in Cincinnati.
The expansive collection spans from outerwear to bags to even shoes, with the common motif being the assorted flower pattern that can be seen across most pieces in the collection- a signature even in Marni’s mainline designs. Another common trademark of the capsule is the playful colour blocking done through intentionally misplacing panels on iconic Carhartt WIP pieces such as the overcoat and work trousers. Other standouts include the knitted sweater that combines both brands’ logos as well as the wide-leg trousers that feature corduroy on one leg and heavyweight cotton on the other.
