The First Collection Under Ib Kamara.
The debut collection by the multi-faceted creative Ib Kamara, most known for his editor role at Dazed and Confused, is based around the theme of “Lunar Shipping”, evolving on Off-White’s youthful design codes and creating luxurious yet practical clothing for the metropolitan explorer.
Mixing up the streetwear roots of Virgil Abloh with a touch of formality brought by Kamara, this refined offering keeps the oversized cuts whilst mixing in new silhouettes that add Off-White’s playful vibe to styles such as suiting. The styling keeps us even more engaged, with skirts and shorts layered over trousers for continued visual interest yet proves the wearability and versatility of the capsule. The standout piece has to be the strapped double-breasted blazer that features exaggerated tailoring that creates an exaggerated hourglass shape with puffed shoulders and a tapered waist.
