"Swap 'Em Out" Store in Soho.
With the aim of incentivising sneakerheads to actually wear shoes they enjoy, eBay has announced a pop-up in Soho called the “Swap ‘Em Out” Store to let customers bring in their pre-loved and unworn sneakers to trade for pairs worth up to three times their value. Attendees will also have a chance to trade in their sneakers for a “Top Swap”, referring to highly coveted and hyped models such as the Nike x Off-White Jordan 1 “Euro”, Nike Air Jordan 4 Kaws and Salomon XT-6 Adv Dover Street Market.
Alongside the exchange service, people will also be able to enjoy other interactive bits such as a sneaker cleaning service by Sneakers ER, an authentication service to ensure satisfaction and protection and a chance to get an invite to the afterparty with live DJ sets, prizes and entertainment.
Funds raised at this event will go towards supporting the DEC Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal.
