Gucci's Collaborative Journey Continues...
World-renowned fashion house Gucci and their sub-label Gucci Vault have unveiled their newest creative venture, debuting the ‘Continuum’ capsule.
After having collaborated with the likes of Palace, Moon Boots and more in recent months, Gucci Vault are back at it again as they take to their Instagram to share a sneak peek at their latest releases, with Gucci Vault’s new ‘Continuum’ capsule featuring a new slate of high-profile collaborations. Some left-of-centre designers such as Collina Strada, Alpha Industries and Alice Pons make the cut, whilst many people’s eyes will be drawn to the joint efforts with skate titans Vans, every celebrity’s favourite brand, Proleta Re Art, as well as EGONlab. The Vans collaboration features new takes on the classic Old Skool, Slip-On, and OG Mule silhouettes, with punk-ish metallic hardware, tapestry designs, and black leather adding a Gucci touch to the line-up, whilst the Proleta Re Art collaboration looks to feature the under-the-radar outfit’s now infamous tapestry designs and distressed colouring. Lastly, EGONlab’s effort sees reimagined Alessandro Michele-designed Gucci collections of recent times take the floor, with some standout garments including a brown denim trucker jacket adorned with fine Gucci “GG” jewellery, a floral hand-painted leather jacket, as well as a more casual set of vibrant bowling shirts.
