Converse & Alexis Sablone Co-Create the AS-1 Pro

Bridging the gap between the worlds of skate and design, Converse has teamed up with professional skateboarder and endlessly curious creator, Alexis Sablone to co-create a signature shoe from the ground up.  

Highlighting ’80s Converse basketball and court silhouettes as the primary source of inspiration behind the sneaker’s aesthetic and technical aspects, the AS-1 Pro is designed with three key components in mind: how it feels, how it rides and its responsiveness.  

Crafted in full grain leather with contrasting pops of colour and asymmetric details, the AS-1 Pro features the label’s first performance skateboarding cupsole and a CX foam sockliner. They’re finished with the signature Star Chevron to the side and a CONS monochrome logo on the tongue.  

The AS-1 Pro debuts globally in white & green on May 2, 2023, with additional coluorways launching June 2, 2023, on Converse.com and select global retailers.
