Titled "Lost in London, Found in Flimby."
After the highly-successful debut of their previously released 991 sneaker, London-based running club and brand Run the Boroughs and world-renowned sportswear brand New Balance have reunited for a new entry into their creative partnership.
This time around, the unlikely duo have unveiled a fresh take on an under-the-radar NB silhouette: the 576. Titling the pair “Lost in London, Found in Flimby”, the latest release was unveiled via Run the Boroughs’ Instagram account and saw the brand dedicate the drop to the celebration of those running the London Marathon, with the design of the shoe being rooted in RTB’s “[…] origins as a collective motivated to explore the various unseen parts of London through running.” Boasting a tonal green upper and concrete grey accents, the pair looks to encapsulate the idea of discovering London’s overlooked green spaces as well as the overarching theme of getting lost in the city. Additional features include an interchangeable velcro patch system, which allows for you to show off your compass skills, or show which borough you represent, as well as signature RTB insignia for a more classic branded touch.
Run the Boroughs’ new New Balance 576 “Lost in London, Found in Flimby” sneaker will be available to shop on April 20th.
