A New Take on a New York Classic.
Having been adopted by the array of New York talent in the hip-hop music scene right now, Ev Bravado’s Who Decides War outfit have gone from strength to strength in recent times, with this being most epitomised in them being one of the closing acts of the most recent New York Fashion Week. A piece that has consistently resonated with fashion fans has been the humble varsity jacket.
Often taking to Instagram to share sneak peeks of upcoming collections and pieces, Ev Bravado has stepped forward again with one of the brand’s most standout garments yet as he debuts a one-of-one bedazzled varsity jacket, with this silhouette having long been a staple of the brand. Being crafted through 10 hours of manual labour, this luxe piece features WDW’s signature stain glass motifs across the across as well as rhinestone-laden “WDW” text down the arms, with an array of silver metallic studs being spread across the front of the piece to add a distinct dose of texture. Lastly, a light purple colour dominates the colour scheme whilst intricate lacing adds an additional patterning to the piece.
