An Unlikely Friendship...?
World-renowned hip-hop hitmaker Kendrick Lamar kept a low-profile as he attended the most recent Met Gala in New York City, with it now being seen that he came together with luxury outfit Chanel to celebrate the iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Being the centre of attention at the start of this week, Karl Lagerfeld and his irreplaceable designs were the real stars of the show at the 2023 Met Gala, with an array of stars touching down in NYC to come together for the late designer, with one of them being the ever-elusive Kendrick Lamar. Coming out of his shell just this once, K Dot stepped into the limelight to celebrate the opening of The Costume Institute’s exhibition, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, being snapped alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell, Jennie, Nicole Kidman and more in a selection of laid-back black and white imagery. Keeping things Kendrick cool, the ‘Saviour’ star rocked what looks to be a quilted black leather Bottega Veneta jacket with a simple white t-shirt, a snapback MLB hat, as well as a pair of suit trousers and pointed black Chelsea boots. Rounding out the look, the LA born musician opted for a cravat-style silk tie-cum-belt across the waist in addition to a silver diamond-encrusted tooth gem from Chanel.
