After over a year of waiting, The North Face’s sub-label, titled Urban Exploration, has finally arrived in the UK as the brand unveil their latest ‘In City, In Nature’ collection for Spring/Summer 2023.
Having previously been exclusive to Asia, The North Face’s Urban Exploration label are now officially here to stay in the UK as the sub-label debut an official look at their ‘In City, In Nature’ collection, bringing urban and rural environments together. Staying true to their previous releases, this newest range of pieces from TNF Urban Exploration looks to pounce on the ongoing ‘Gorpcore’ wave, with highly technical fabrics, adaptable features, and a minimalist design make this a perfect capsule to slot right into an early summer wardrobe. Keeping their focus on performance, this range of campaign imagery displays the pieces in their natural habitat – that being the outdoors – with the capsule including a technical hooded gilet, action-ready button-down shirts, t-shirts, polos, cargo shorts, performance skirts, and hats. Some central standouts include a black hooded Cropped City Gilet, which is adorned with striking orange detailing and blacked-out The North Face branding, a beige cargo-style shirt, as well as a similarly-coloured skirt that utilises stitched TNF branding and an elongated shape.
