Better Worn.
Initially unveiled on Instagram by the founder Josue Thomas, Vans and Gallery Dept. have decided to make their partnership official with a fresh take on the OG Old Skool LX. The chaotic design comes as no surprise, taking into the consideration the Los Angeles-based brand’s trademark motifs that include heavy distressing and paint splatters.
This sneaker is no exception as it features an abundance of details. On a primarily white leather base – bar the black suede toe cap and heel – you will find a fuzzy red stripe with a newspaper-like print behind it on the sides, scuffed up midsoles with a repeating Gallery Dept. logo, yellow laces reading “good luck!” and “ART THAT KILLS” embroidery in red on the heels.
The Vans x Gallery Dept. OG Old Skool LX will be available on May 19th via the Vans website.
