ME Dubai, re-launched in 2001 by the renowned Meliá group and taking residence in the stunning Opus by Omniyat building, undeniably holds it’s title as being one of the most talked about hotel locations to date. The Opus building concept was presented back in 2007 by the late iconic architect Zaha Hadid and now home to the ME Dubai hotel, this remains the only hotel in the world designed entirely by Hadid. The Opus building has taken architecture to new heights, now a monument to Dubai and truly a sight to see, the conjoined towers forming a ‘H’-like shape from one side and a cube from the other it’s undoubtedly one of Hadid’s greatest masterpieces and a testament to her portfolio. Situated in Downtown’s Burj Khalifa district and a stone-throw away from Dubai creek, ME Dubai brings a unique luxuriousness to Dubai’s hospitality scene making it an absolute must-visit for those seeking a one of a kind stay.

Architecture, interiors and Suites:

With architecture and interior design being one of ME Dubai’s main attractions, you can expect some of the most unique suites that the city has to offer. Hadid’s signature futuristic take on design can be felt upon entering the hotel with the exquisite lobby being one of its highlights, and the beginning of a journey through her concept of space, curves and sharp angles.

There are 93 suites in total categorised under 8 luxurious room-types which have been meticulously designed by Hadid with the intent of creating a place of leisure and relaxation. The attention to detail is extraordinary with an ambience that takes inspiration from the night and sand dunes of Dubai, Hadid’s signature style can be felt through ever single element from shapes to lighting. The interiors seamlessly blend avant-garde with sleekness and every aspect of the hotel inside out intended to be visually stunning.
