Let's Go To Heaven.
We know that the Spanish designer is no stranger to the NYC fashion scene, and after a series of successful past shows, Palomo Spain has truly cemented his place at Fashion Week. This season, he unveils his latest collection under the hallowed roof of Uptown Manhattan’s Fourth Universalist Society Church, presenting his vision through a personal gospel of style and storytelling.
Titled “All of Heaven’s Parties,” Palomo Spain’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection explores the tension between human desires and the notion of divine judgment. Rooted in the belief that emotions and impulses are natural and uncontrollable, the collection challenges the idea of punishment in the afterlife. Drawing from his experiences raving at Basement and the work of Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki—who fuses kinbaku-bi bondage with floral imagery to elevate raw sensuality—Palomo Spain turns sexuality into an art form. The glamorous, seductive photography of Helmut Newton also weaves through the collection, adding a layer of unapologetic provocation.
In terms of design, the collection offers a tactile feast, with textures like denim, taffeta, and silk organza coming together in bold yet delicate forms. Spanish heritage shines through in techniques such as handmade embroidery and silk fringing. Oversized suits topped with feathered headpieces reminiscent of sharp bobs, slinky 1930s-style gowns, and structured cocktail dresses showcase Palomo’s deftness at mixing tradition with modern flair. The collection’s color palette of black and white, accented with brown, orange, purple, and denim blue, provides a striking backdrop for embroidered fringes, oversized sequins, and Swarovski crystals.
