PAUSE Highlights:
Celebrity Halloween Looks
Spooky SZN.
If we know anything over at PAUSE, it’s that fashion and Halloween go hand-in-hand. Creeping up on the spooky holiday, recent years have seen many go even bigger and even better for Halloween, especially after the Covid-19 years.
Having long been a firm favourite holiday of ours, it’s time that we take a look back at some standout celebrity outfits of recent times. From Justin and Hailey Bieber as Flintstones’ (1960) Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble and Cardi B as Marge Simpson to Rihanna as Gunna and Heidi Klum as a worm, we’ve got the bases covered.
Whether you need some last minute inspiration or you’re just having a quick reminisce, check out some hit celebrity Halloween looks below:

When it comes to couples Halloween celebrations, the Biebers have got it on lock. Not quite spooky, but definitely a lot of fun.
- Rihanna: Gunna -

At this point, I think we’ve all seen *that* Gunna outfit. Despite his look not originally being a Halloween effort, Rihanna saw the vision. 10/10, no notes.
- Heidi Klum: worm -

It wouldn’t be very fair of us to exclude the undisputed queen of Halloween here, with Heidi Klum’s worm costume taking the cake as this list’s most hard to look at ensemble. Ghastly.
- G-Eazy: Jack Skellington -

How could we include the queen of Halloween and not the king? G-Eazy has cemented himself as a multifaceted mainstay of the special holiday, with this The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) edition being one of our favourites.
- The Weeknd: The Nutty Professor -

We were truly blinded by The Weeknd’s light for his “The Nutty Professor” ensemble, an ode to his unbending love of enjoying a silly Halloween.
- Tracee Ellis Ross: Lupita Nyong'o as 'Adelaide' in 'Us' (2019) -

If you’ve seen Jordan Peele’s Us (2019), then you know there’s not much that’s scarier than Lupita Nyong’o’s Adelaide (Red) character. Tracee Ellis Ross hit this one out of the park.
- Ice Spice: Betty Boop -

It’s simple and effective from Ice Spice. She knows what’s going to look good and she runs with it. Solid party look.
- Machine Gun Kelly & Megan Fox: The Bride & Gogo Yubari -

Couples looks always hit that bit harder, especially when you’re Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox. Taking their love for Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill (2003) to the next level, the duo stole the show last year.
- Beyoncé & Jay Z: Barbie & Ken -

Beyoncé and Jay Z as Barbie and Ken was always going to be a cheat code. A classic fun family look.
- Kylie Jenner: Bride of Frankenstein -

Spooky, but make it chic. Kylie Jenner never lets you down come Halloween.
- Cardi B: Marge Simpson -

Cartoons always give you room to roam when you’re looking to get a fit off, and what character more ever so slightly off-putting than Marge Simpson? Cardi B sits somewhere between humorous and weird with this one.
- Janelle Monae: Diva Plavalaguna -

From a pure technical standpoint, this look from Janelle Monae has to be a firm favourite. Replicating the all-blue Diva Plavalaguna look in the film The Fifth Element (1997), we couldn’t love this more.
- Zayn: Voldemort -

Zayn’s nerdy side popped through with last year’s look, heading to Hogwarts for some inspiration. Scary (and then some!)
- Jaden Smith: Harry Potter -

Finishing things off with Voldemort’s mortal enemy, Jaden Smith kept it classic for an easily steal-able last-minute ensemble.
