The Happy Marriage Continues.
Wales Bonner x adidas Originals are back for more as the duo combine for a tastefully curated Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
Telling the story of vibrant street style from down the years, Wales Bonner x adidas FW24 shares the history of the Three Stripes’ association to hip-hop culture, paying direct homage to it. Keeping in touch with their foundational sporty offerings of previous years, a selection of re-coded sporting looks are introduced, with floral vests, shorts, and tops combining with signature collaborative styles like tracksuits, hoodies, and outerwear. As you might’ve expected, the footwear offering steals the limelight for FW24, with Wales Bonner dipping into the adidas archives for an all-new entry: the adidas Originals Superstar. More established styles also make their mark, with two different Samba silhouettes debuting in various design styles, with the classic Wales Bonner Samba being updated in two crocodile-printed leather make ups, while the Samba Millenium follows suit with two colour ways both being put together with contrast crocodile-printed leather at the heel.
The campaign itself was shot by photographer Rennell Medrano and points a mirror at New York’s iconic Harlem neighbourhood, enlisting a cast of unique characters – including professional skaters Carlisle Aikens and Kader Sylla – to highlight the beauty and poetry of the street and invite consumers to literally step into a new world.
The Wales Bonner x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2024 collection will be available globally on October 24th at adidas.com, via Confirmed, and through select retailers.
