The wait is over—Aminé’s highly anticipated collaboration with New Balance has officially dropped worldwide today. The reissued 740 silhouette takes a nostalgic spin, celebrating the rapper’s roots at Portland’s Benson Polytechnic High School, where his journey into music began.
Draped in his alma mater’s team colours, the sneaker is a vibrant homage. Royal blue dominates while bold pops of orange light up the mesh underlays, the iconic ‘N’ logo, and the outsole. The school crest decorates the insoles, alongside a commemorative tongue tag marking Aminé’s graduation year and his time at KBPS, the school’s radio station.
