Dries Van Noten have announced that Julian Klausner will be the fashion house’s new creative director.
Ending a lengthy half-year search, it was announced this afternoon that in-house womenswear designer Julian Klausner would be the new creative director of Dries Van Noten, with the young Belgium-born designer having originally joined the team in 2018. Working closely under the guidance of the one and only Dries Van Noten, Klausner quickly rose up the ranks of the esteemed fashion house, having become a focal cog in the advancement of the standout womenswear collections. Bringing it forward to the end of 2024, Klausner has been unveiled at the helm of the brand, stepping into Dries Van Noten’s gargantuan shoes after his departure earlier this year.
In a statement about his appointment, Klausner said the following:
“I am beyond thrilled to oversee the upcoming seasons as we begin the next chapter for this house. The incomparable legacy that Dries is leaving behind is monumental, serving as an endless source of precious inspiration. I look forward to embarking on new ambitious challenges while honoring the heritage we all cherish.”
Klausner will present his first womenswear runway collection as creative director on March 5th, 2025.
