You won’t find a happier looking collection than Harry Styles’ Pleasing x JW Anderson capsule, a joint effort based upon the foundations of friendship.
With both Pleasing and JW Anderson falling in line with each other, particularly sharing a mutual affection for colour and vibrancy, the dynamic duo have joined forces for a new limited-edition capsule collection. Harry Styles and Jonathan Anderson have been long-time friends and supporters of one another, with the garments themselves most notably sharing this joint sense of celebration through a reoccurring balloon motif. The garments themselves meet in the middle of Pleasing and JW Anderson, being comprised of apparel, accessories, and nail polishes, with signature pieces from both brands making sure to bring as many eyes to the collaboration as possible. For instance, JW Anderson’s iconic Bumper Bag arrives in an exclusive colourway and boasts both logos across the crossbody strap, whilst glittering Penis key rings in purple and yellow also enliven some of Anderson’s previous works.
Moving further into the range, chrome balloon key rings made from recycled-silicone debut in a vibrant green colourway, as well as the Bunch of Balloons Knit Cardigan, a piece that acts as a full-on nod to JW Anderson’s V&A-displayed Patchwork Cardigan, worn by Harry Styles himself. Being the standout piece from the collection, the standout knit is emblazoned with a bouquet of technicolor balloons, embracing the duo’s playful tones. Lastly, the collection is filled out with a staple Pleasing sweatshirt, new versions of Pleasing’s tasteful nail polishes – including a special edition four-piece polish set and a fifth individual polish – a t-shirt, hoodie, and green star bag charm, doubling down on the wondrous, child-like approach to this curated collection.
