PAUSE Team Picks: Festive Favourites

Please, Please, Please...

As the song goes, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas is coming and here at PAUSE, we’ve no room for Scrooges. Following a frantic 355 days (5 to go!), featuring some of the decade’s most memorable fashion moments to date, I think it’s fair to say the team are due a treat or two when the bells ring out.

All that being said, I can neither confirm nor deny whether the big man will be reading this as his signature fur-trimmed suit waits to be steamed in the wardrobe (do you reckon it’s Dior?), but if you need some last-minute inspiration or simply want to see what a fellow fashionista hopes to see underneath their tree come the 25th, you’ve come to the right place.

The statement of all statement coats. A glossy finish to a mostly classic overcoat gives this piece just enough edge, whilst a black colour scheme provides some adaptability. Acne Studios’ run needs to be studied.

Can’t beat a good old pair of blue jeans (with a twist.) Boasting the signature JW anchor logo on the pocket, this pair lets everyone know the type of timing you’re on.

Get in your A$AP Rocky bag with this on-trend Leopard Print Leather Tie. We’re going to miss you, Mr. Blazy, especially for pieces like this.

@mothercain, where’s the restock at?!?

Song of the Year: Starburster. Album of the Year: Romance. I don’t want to hear any other answers.

I know people like to gatekeep their favourite fragrances but if the whole world smelt like this then I’d have no complaints.

I’ve been obsessing over Toga Virilis footwear for months now. There’s something about comfortable, dressier silhouettes accented with hits of silver that really gets me excited.

Everybody needs a cuban in their jewellery box, and this XL chain from In Gold We Trust Paris hits the mark. It’s the perfect blend of sophistication and street influence.

Stolen Girlfriends Club was one of my favourite brands when I first got into fashion, so I’ve been collecting their jewellery for years. They’ve all stood the test of time, and this ring is a great statement piece to finish off your hand.

Everyone loves the Tom Ford private label, and for good reason. But one of their most slept-on scents is this warm fougere that makes me feel like I’m James Bond leaving the barbershop.

The Golden Goose Ballstar is the perfect sneaker to me. From the silhouette to the customisation options, these can be dressed up or down and are such a statement piece to add character to a day-time look, they really are the “It’ sneakers for me.
Nothing completes an outfit more than a bit of arm-candy and JBW have the perfect watches which do exactly that. Watches are the ultimate accessory, the single arch is so chic and the diamonds add the perfect amount of bling that you’ll need to elevate an evening look, not to forget you’ll always be able to keep an eye on the time.
It’s all about the furs this winter and Frankie Shop never fail to deliver when it comes to outerwear. From length to colour and style, this is the perfect faux fur and absolutely worth the splurge, since we have no choice but to tackle the blizzard, why not do it in style.
Say goodbye to boring Specs! Prescription or not, eyewear is such a fab fashion accessory and one of my fave things to throw on especially on a no make-up day. I personally love the range from Bloobloom, super trendy and such nice styles and even better, at a great price point.
