A Streetwear Salute to Cinematic Legacy.
Supreme is diving deep into the archives of Black cinema for its latest drop, linking up with Spike Lee’s legendary 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks for a powerful, culture-packed capsule. Honouring Lee’s cinematic milestones Malcolm X and Clockers, the collection fuses streetwear and storytelling like never before.
At the heart of the collection is a heavyweight varsity jacket emblazoned with a bold “X” across the back, a clear nod to Malcolm X, the groundbreaking film that cemented Denzel Washington and Lee as icons. The 40 Acres patch sits proudly on the chest, alongside Supreme branding, blending fashion and film heritage in every stitch.
The collection also includes a baseball jersey stamped with “SUPREME” and the number “40” — a callout to 40 Acres’ legacy and the sports-streetwear aesthetic that’s become Supreme’s signature. Graphic tees spotlight moments from Lee’s life behind the camera, including an arresting image of him mid-shoot and the unmistakable X motif. Completing the drop is a six-panel cap featuring Clockers-inspired embroidery, bringing 90s film grit to modern streetwear.
Spike Lee and Supreme are no strangers to shaping culture — and this collab feels like a full-circle moment. The capsule is now available on their official website.
