Bianca Censori Directs ‘Ok’ by Ye

Bianca Censori and Don Toliver get surgical.

In her latest directorial venture, Bianca Censori transforms the music video for “OK” into a surreal performance piece that blurs the boundaries between art, architecture, and cinema. The film opens on an operating table. A decapitated Ye, his head placed beside his body. As the surgical sequence unfolds, objects are meticulously extracted from his chest, each gesture deliberate and ritualistic. Midway through, Don Toliver performs the final act: reattaching Ye’s head, sparking a shadowed fight scene where Ye calmly sharpens his swords. A haunting metaphor for rebirth and confrontation.

Drawing from her background in architecture and design, Censori constructs the video as a spatial experience rather than a linear narrative. Every frame functions as a sculptural composition, where movement and gesture replace dialogue. The result is an absurdist visual narrative. One that uses objects and setting to reveal hidden meanings beneath the surface of performance.

The release follows the June 2026 debut of BULLY – DELUXE, an expanded edition that has amplified the cultural resonance of tracks like King,’ ‘Gemini Season,” and ‘Father.’ ‘OK’ joins a series of videos directed by Censori for the project, each extending her multidisciplinary practice across film, performance, and contemporary visual culture.
