Best Dressed Men Of The Year 2013
This year, a vast amount of men who may have previously been ignorant, decided to step out of their comfort zone and become much more fashion conscious. Guys worldwide were suddenly more aware of styles, trends and designers with the likes of Jay-Z making club hits about Tom Ford and creating his own collection for Barneys New York, Drake getting custom tour costumes designed by Calvin Klein and Mr West collaborating with APC bringing fashion to the maybe not so fashionable. Male celebrities in general turned everything up a notch when it came to style this year making this list that bit more difficult to compile. However, we managed to pull it together with the obvious choices and a few names you may not suspect.
1. Harry Styles
Mr Styles Broke out of his bubblegum pop boy-band shell and started to mature and evolve into his own style. His appearance at the Burberry Prosum Spring/Summer ’14 show put him in the spotlight, whilst his outfits at later shows of his own confirmed his style transmission from teeny pop to a British rock chic.
2. Pharrell Williams
Pharrell Williams made a huge comeback this year musically with him being involved with not one but two of arguably the biggest songs to be released this year. Not only that, but Pharrell also hit 40 years of age and rocked style after style after style with ease making fashionable men weep worldwide. He’s stayed on top of his music game whilst simultaneously maintaining that incredibly envious style of his. This man needs no explanation or introduction.
3. Idris Elba
Idris Elba’s rather subtle and casual was brought to our attention this year with his presence at countless red carpets and numerous press events. His stardom has grown along with his style.
4. Kanye West
It wouldn’t be right not to include Mr West. If he wasn’t wearing the clothes he would be designing them. Kanye really got his hands deep inside the fashion world revealing to most what was unknown including his ghost designs for Guiseppe Zanotti or his internship at Fendi.
5. Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake began the year with a storm of styles, performing many shows and hitting the top of the charts with his stylish song ‘Suit & Tie’ Ft J-Zay.
6. Miguel
Miguels took rock chic to another level with his hard hitting style. He played around with looks and experimented with different styles which we applaud him for. Our favourite look of his was probably his tasseled get up at this years Wireless festival.
7. Tinie Tempah
Londons reigning champ Tinie didn’t fail in delivering his best in style. From his all red Paul Smith look to his Burberry head to toe one, Tinie had no problem jumping from designer to designer and putting his British-cool spin on it.
