Kingston University has been renowned for it’s high quality of work in Graduate Fashion Week, and this year there was no disappointment, especially in womenswear, with Lauren Lake being featured heavily in the media after her collection. This isn’t to say that menswear was lacking this year, quite the opposite. As one of the final catwalks this GFW, there has been much anticipation to see what the future of fashion designers may have.
Karen Verey’s collection might be one of our favourites from Kingston. The colour scheme was impeccable – we loved the whites, greys and teal; it gave the collection a very luxurious high fashion vibe. The boxy, short cut jackets were something that I’d definitely wear myself and the bucket hats are always a plus. We can’t wait to see what this designer has in store for the future.
