PFW: Kenzo SS15 Collection

It felt like we were in a sweet candy store with all the pastels during the showcase of the Kenzo Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

A lighthearted collection consisting of bright huge polka dots and Breton striped ensemble, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Kenzo certainly brought us fun-loving pieces for next spring. There were asymmetrical stripped blazers, jackets and tops bringing out the fun in fashion. The colour palette made up of pastel hues such as baby pink, peach, sky blue and mint brought a sugary sweet vibe on the runway making us crave for a sweet French dessert to go along with. There was a mix of both French and American influences, such as having the iconic face of Cosette from Les Miserables on sweaters and tops, the Eiffel tower printed with the polka dots and having the close up of the Statue of Liberty embroidered at the back of the jackets. The Kenzo man seems to be a street-smart looking French man who has an American side to him.

You just cannot look at the collection without feeling cheerful with the soft colours and sprints; and we are sure this is another popular collection from Kenzo just like previous seasons.
