P for Performance.
Palace and Adidas Originals return for their seasonal drop. The pair have been collaborating with one another since 2014, making this their third consecutive Fall/Winter 2016 collection. The collaboration has been being teased for the last couple of days and now we finally have a full drop-list and video lookbook; which you can see above.
As you can see by watching the video, you get a good idea of what the collection is about. The video itself is littered with retro references: Tracksuit top and bottoms, the CGI used in the advert and the guy playing squash. I mean, who even plays that game anymore? As always with ‘Palidas’ collaborations, we get a combination of both footwear and apparel; this is no different. The collection, so far, consists of a zip-up tracksuit, football jersey, training jersey, track bottoms, hooded track top, cap and socks. In addition, there was also be a new sneaker which has been dubbed ‘Das Palace Indoor’, which roughly translates to ‘The Palace Indoor’. The sneaker features a full-length Boost outer sole, embossed Palace logo and white leather upper with red and blue Adidas Three Stripes.
The collection will be available in-store and online November 12th, as well as selected retailers.
