Gosha Rubchinskiy Mixes Sportswear With Suits For A/W17.
Last week Gosha Rubchinskiy unveiled his long awaited Autumn/Winter 17 collection in Kaliningrad, Russia. The collection saw a collaboration with German sportswear brand, Adidas which was highly anticipated after some pieces surfaced online a few weeks ago, mixing Adidas’ sportswear aesthetic with Rubchinskiy’s Soviet influences. The German and Soviet architecture of the building and surrounding used for the show ties the two brands and their cultures together perfectly. Moscow based DJ Buttechno created a unique track for the show and included a personal voice over of each model, cast by Gosha Rubchinskiy himself via Instagram, speaking about their life and future ambitions.
