An official release date for the highly anticipated Vans x Van Gogh Museum collaboration has been announced along with a lookbook of the collection.
Inspired by the bright flowers and bold skulls of Van Gogh’s colorful paintings, the collection features a full range of sneakers, both laced and slip-on, t-shirts, long sleeves, jackets and accessories. Stand-out pieces from the collection include a satin bomber jacket, which comes with a matching backpack and hat, as well as T-shirt with Van Gogh’s self-portrait & sunflowers graphic above the Vans’ signature checkerboard motif. Iconic Vans sneaker models such as the SK8-Hi’s also appear in this collection. For a stand-out sneaker, Van’s redesigned the Old Skool & Slip-on silhouettes to feature an exclusive old vineyard and Letters print, which was created by taking text and illustrations from the 700 letters the artist had sent to his brother.
