There is no denying that Virgil Abloh’s debut release for Louis Vuitton is a big deal, hence why the French fashion house and luxury retail company is setting up a unique pop-up in celebration of the drop.
As for what to expect from it, the label has mirrored the very subjects Abloh himself explored in his SS19 collection through the design of the temporary store, with branding that arrives in a spectrum of colours, likely as a way of reflecting Virgil’s interest in light prisms for the collection, as well as walls and floors arriving with design cues taken from the 1939 cult-classic film, The Wizard of Oz.
