After first announcing their partnership back in December, Evian recently unveiled the first water bottle designed by the ultimate-multi creative, Virgil Abloh.
Reimagining Soma’s already customisable glass water bottle, Virgil Abloh, Evians’ Creative Advisor for Sustainable Innovation Design, reworks the water bottle with a soft silicone sleeve and a natural bamboo cap. In the true Virgil fashion, the bottle is tagged with a “RAINBOW INSIDE” text phrase on the front.
Tapping designers and cultural commentators such as Virgil Abloh to help reverse the trend of unnecessary plastic consumption, Evian hopes to make all its plastic bottles from 100% recycled plastic by 2025 and become a “fully circular brand.” Speaking on the partnership, Virgil said “Evian is an iconic brand with a strong heritage in fashion and creativity. Its sustainability ambitions align with my own, together we can push boundaries and explore new areas of evolution, paving a better future for generations.“
