‘For the Team.’
Celebrating its 100th anniversary, athletic apparel brand, Champion has partnered up with Luka Sabbat for a multifaceted global campaign.
Dubbed ‘For the Team,’ the campaign explores what it means to be a team in the modern-day, working with a Sabbat and a select group of emerging artist youth from the non-profit organisation ‘Art Start’ to create an exclusive and limited edition work of art using Champion apparel as the canvas. Inspired by the Art Start’s emerging artists, Luka, who himself attended Lower Manhattan Arts Academy explained the partnership, saying “I’m excited to partner with Champion as part of their 100-year anniversary, and to have a piece of my art featured on the iconic Champion Reverse Weave hoodie. From my conversations with the Art Start youth, I realise they are true Champions – they have heart, they are inspiring, and they are passionate about their work. Imagination comes easily to the individual but the creativity to make it happen, takes teamwork. That’s what makes a Champion.”
