As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to threaten the ability to have large gatherings for the foreseeable future, fashion shows are being reimagined to suit the current world situation. London Fashion Week went online last weekend, Chanel presented it’s Resort 2021 collection via photographs and now Burberry is announcing its plans for a live digital presentation for its Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

Titled  “In Nature” this immersive online experience will be set against the backdrop of Britain’s natural landscapes, an opportunity for the label to present its collection away from the city.

Creative Director Riccardo Tisci said in a statement that “Especially recently, we have all yearned to reconnect again and for this show, I wanted to celebrate these feelings by bringing our community together in a creative experience that takes place within the beautiful, natural landscape of Britain.”

Being presented on September 17, the show will look towards the protection of nature as well as its beauty. As with the British luxury brands last two runway shows, it will be certified carbon neutral, using Burberry’s regeneration fund to offset any emissions produced.
