Summer tailoring.
Inspired by the decadent American lifestyles captured by prominent photographer Slim Aarons, Mans shot its latest collection in the type of well-pruned, sun-soaked garden and Aarons would capture his subjects.
The clothing focuses on tailoring, with the techniques of Saville Road and Japanese couture informing sharply-cut creations. The formal garments include two-piece suits complete with a cummerbund and double-breasted suit jackets which are contrasted with equally decadent casual-wear such as dressing gowns produced in luxurious fabrics and tailored to mimick a blazer.
Matching the summerful setting, a bright palette is exercised with pastel blues, greens, red, purple and almost everything in between weaving its way through the collection. Complimenting the bright garments, a collaboration with the Spanish hatmakers Tolentino continues the air of extravagance.
