Showcasing one of the year’s most anticipated fashion releases, the Louis Vuitton Exhibit for the Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh is available to visit now in New York City, putting the late designer’s fashion-bending creations on display.
The immersive experience takes a typically Virgil approach, displaying an array of vibrantly coloured exhibits that look to capture the design process of the late creative. Erected just outside of the exhibit is a large statue of a man dancing, keeping in line with Abloh’s previous visions seen during his time at Louis Vuitton. As you move through the exhibit, each Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh is separately displayed and underlines each unique colourway and design, with each version displayed in a way that mimics the shoe floating through the air. With everything from DJ booths and mood boards to tire swings and LED lighting, the Louis Vuitton Exhibit for the Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh captures the magical essence of the late designer, as well as displaying how his legacy can continue to live and breathe beyond his physical presence.
The Louis Vuitton Exhibit for the Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh is available to visit now at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse, Brooklyn (New York) until May 31st.
