Colombian superstar singer J Balvin is set to release his long-awaited Air Jordan 2 next week, with an extended footwear and apparel release having also been announced.
Following up on the widely-successful release of his Air Jordan 1 sneaker back in 2021, J Balvin has joined forces with heritage sportswear brand Jordan for yet another collaboration, teaming up for a sky blue iteration of the Air Jordan 2. In extended campaign imagery, a new selection of extended footwear and apparel have been teased, following suit to the sky blue colour scheme of the main event.
The unisex range of pieces features standard inclusions such as t-shirts, hoodies and a crewneck sweatshirt, with more left-of-centre inclusions seeing a varsity jacket, a pair of fleece pants and an adjustable hat make the cut. Additional pieces include two pairs of crew socks, a pair of shorts, a collaboratively designed basketball, as well as a pair of Jordan Super Play slides, which prove to be the best of the rest of the additional pieces. This extended footwear boasts collaboratively branded uppers, including J Balvin’s signature smiley detailing, as well as a mixed light blue and pastel green colour scheme. Some other standouts from the upcoming range include a light blue Jordan x J Balvin patchwork varsity jacket as well as a white and pink gradient graphic Michael Jordan t-shirt.
The J Balvin x Jordan collection, including the release of the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 2, will drop on September 15th via Nike’s website. Check out the campaign imagery below.
