Arriving this Week.
Vans x BAPE is making sure to take us back to the good old days with their latest collaboration, debuting several hype takes on some of Vans’ most cherished footwear shapes.
Streetwear’s favourite love couple are back at it again, following up their rich line of collaborative footwear with yet another couple of entries, with Vans x BAPE taking on the prior’s Old Skool and Sk8-Mid silhouettes for SS24. Leaning into both brands’ deep-lying skating heritage, this newest dose of imagery keeps it simple and on theme, with models heading over to the skate park in the newest Vans x BAPE footwear entries. As you might’ve guessed, BAPE’s iconic camouflage patterning takes the reigns throughout this collaboration, painting Vans’ blank canvases with shades of green, blue, and pink on the midfoot and quarters, whilst stitched “OFF THE WALL” lettering hits the toe alongside a silver BAPE head lace lock adornment. The nods to BAPE don’t stop there as their signature star emblem replaces Vans’ signature stripe across the midfoot, with a co-branded tongue label and a camouflage waffle gum sole going hand-in-hand with a simplistic – but necessary – white midsole.
The Vans x BAPE Old Skool and Sk8-Mid pack will release on July 26th via the Vans website.
