Craig Green has been on a tear this year, producing experimental takes on classic menswear garments. Their latest exploration is in partnership with Fred Perry, utilising a new dying technique in order to transfer the grass, clay and chalk found on tennis courts onto garments.
The foundation begins with a striking white shirt detailed with neon green accents, which are reflective of a tennis ball. A special dying method is then applied to the garment, achieving irregularity on each piece. All three garments end up looking as if they’ve been rubbed along the court in order to secure a realistic colour palette.
Green opted not to change the original Fred Perry polo silhouette, apart from adding his branding to the right breast side. The Craig Green x Fred Perry tennis-inspired polos are available on the Fred Perry website.
