Lou left school at 16 in order to start an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring before returning to education and graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1998. After this Lou picked up valuable experience when working for various international brands – notably as a consultant for United Arrows Japan, Iceberg and Stone Island in Italy – before she produced her label in 2008 that focuses on practicality, adventure and making the wearer look and feel like they are on cloud 9.
