ALYX designer Matthew Williams took to Instagram recently to shed a little more light on his pending collaborative sneaker collection with Nike.
As with previous shoes that the Kanye West protege has designed under his label 1017 ALYX 9SM, these will feature a detachable Vibram sole that straps over the top of the shoe. The three sock-like sneakers are a continuation of a partnership between Nike and the American designer, which reinterprets gym-wear. The collaboration merges Nike’s technology and Matthew’s design skill to create desirable athleisure.
