JW Anderson’s first official eyewear line has finally arrived. Previously collaborating with Persol on a range of sunglasses, this new collection embodies JW Anderson’s daring aesthetic.
Bringing together distinctive brand elements with timeless silhouettes, the four unisex styles are crafted from premium Mazzuchelli Acetate from Italy. The JWA01-Bumper sunglasses draw inspiration from the brand’s iconic Bumper bag, its influence visible through oversized proportions and contrasting edges. JW Anderson’s take on a classic eyewear shape is realized through the JWA02-Rectangle style, with matt edges outlining chunky frames and asymmetrical temple tips reminiscent of the brand’s Anchor logo. Combining acetate and metal detailing, the JWA03-Geometric pair features classic lenses encased by a sleek metal frame with acetate detailing. The JWA04-Twister design pays homage to the label’s Twister bag with a butterfly acetate frame, being expertly moulded to resemble the bag’s top handle. Each piece comes in one size and a variety of colourways. True to the founder’s playful design approach, every pair is protected by a faux fur case.
